AVANTGARDE acquires majority stake in Slash.Digital

Munich, November 3, 2021 – The Munich-based Avantgarde Group has secured a majority stake in the digital agency Slash.Digital. Founded in 2016 by Tim Schlöder (34) and Joe Butler (33), the Munich-based agency strengthens the digital expertise of the Avantgarde network and complements the range of services accordingly.

With almost 50 employees, Slash.Digital currently supports national and international clients (including fashion manufacturer Hugo Boss, kitchen manufacturer Poggenpohl and the Danone brands Aptamil and Milupa) in the areas of digital campaigns, social media, SEO/SEA, UX/UI design, email marketing and web development. From mid-November, Slash.Digital will move into Avantgarde’s headquarters in Munich’s Werksviertel district.

Slash.Digital sets itself apart from its competitors by using a neuroscientific approach as the basis for digital marketing strategies. “Growth itself is measurable, but the path to it is still characterized by great subjectivity. We want to change that. That’s why we generate growth through a deep understanding of target groups and the ability to make groundbreaking communication decisions based on data,” says Joe Butler, Founder and Managing Director of Slash.Digital.

Since this year, Slash.Digital has also been using this model to build direct-to-consumer brands in which the agency is directly involved. These currently include the natural food supplement Supernaturals (supernaturals.eu) and the CBD brand Charlie Green (charliegreen.de), which are set to grow further in 2022.
